Spancast Caribbean Limited formally Spancrete Caribbean Limited was incorporated in August 1990 to produce precast/ pretressed concrete products. Its flagship product is the Hollowcore Plank produced under license from Spancast Machinery Corporation of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Spancast is a subsidiary of Century Eslon, a major plastic manufacturer in Trinidad, established in 1965. Century Eslon Limited produces a wide range of plastic products including PVC and high density polyethylene pipes for water and sewerage, electrical conduit and ducting, rainwater guttering and fittings, plastic packaging for beverages, soft drinks, paints and other industrial products.

Spancast is a member of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and the Spancast Manufacturers Association (SMA). SMA members are licensed, trained and equipped to mass-produce Spancast Hollowcare Planks world-wide. Through the PCI and SMA, Spancast Caribbean shares knowledge and benefits from the experience of fellow members world-wide. 
 
Spancast’s plant is situated on a ten acre site at the O’Meara Industrial Estate in Arima, Trinidad. A fully computerized batching plant with modern production techniques and a stringent quality assurance and Quality Control System ensures a consistent quality product. Rated production capacity is 100 cubic meters per day. Exports vary from 40% to 80% of annual sales and Spancast was awarded the Prime Ministers Exporter of the Year VI Award for 1998.

Spancast’s clientele span throughout the region, and Spancast has become well known for floors and roofs that were used in banks, hotels, schools, offices in Barbados, Curacao, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Trinidad & Tobago and USVI, as well as the use of Superplies to support buildings, bridges, marine jetties and petrochemical plants in Antigua, Barbados, St. Maarten, Trinidad and the USVI. Service starts early in the project with experienced sales people providing design, pricing and scheduling information. This continues into the shop drawing stage where qualified engineering
personnel design and detail all products to meet specific project requirements.

Spancast and Century Eslon Limited were both founded by Michael J Williams. His son, David J Williams is the Managing Director of Spancast Caribbean Limited.
